Rescue dogs will go through a period of adjustment when entering a new home. For example, they may become extremely shy, somewhat aggressive or display other negative behaviour. They may also start ‘doing their business’ inside the house or may not eat at their regular meal times.

If approved, a copy of the CCRT Code of Ethics for Fostering & Rescue Volunteers will be sent to you for your signature. A signed Code of Ethics form must be on file before the Canadian Chihuahua Rescue and Transport before we can enlist your help as a volunteer.
