September 11, 2022 : RIP
In (Very) Loving Memory:
While we have been away, our little Eve has had a stroke and died at the age of 16. It happened suddenly on Sunday September 11th @ 5:30pm. Our very good friends watching her for us called us right away when she collapsed, and she couldn’t get back up again. Thanks to Whatsapp we were able to see for ourselves she had suffered a major stroke. My friends located an emergency clinic with critical care facilities available but before they could bundle her up and rush her to the clinic she stopped breathing.
We were all devastated. One minute she was enjoying the smell of the flowers outside and the next she was gone. Although through the years she had lost most of her hearing, eye sight and teeth she still could smell any thing and she used it to get around. We were privileged to have had that little 5 pound treasure in our lives since we adopted her at from CCRT at age 9. She had our hearts in her little paws from day one.
She will be greatly missed by everyone, especially her mom who was with her everyday, having never been apart from her for very long since the very first time they met thanks to CCRT and she became part of the family.
She will never be forgotten by any of us.
RIP beautiful girl
