It’s hard to think that Fiona was a stray. Yet she was. She was very stressed in a GTA shelter and the decision was made to transfer her to CCRT and a loving foster family!
Once Fiona knows you, she is a very sweet and affectionate girl. She loves nothing more than to be in your lap! However, she can be very full of herself and can bark and snap at strangers. She does warm up very quickly (especially if there are treats involved!). Fiona will need an owner that can be firm with her and teach her to properly greet people.
She will tolerate other dogs as long as they are not pushy, but she would likely prefer to be the only dog. She may do well with one other low key dog. She is not a fan of cats!
Fiona is crate trained, house trained, and pee pad trained. She does prefer to go outside to do her business. She’s a fun dog to have around and will make an excellent companion. Fiona is looking for a home with no children under 10, and no cats!
