This is Frankie. He was recently adopted from a  shelter but sadly his former owner’s circumstances suddenly changed and he was surrendered into the care of CCRT.

Frankie has shown himself to be sweet and loving. He enjoys cuddling and treats and he loves his foster family. He would do well in a home with a  well fenced in backyard although he is improving with his use of pee pads indoors. This little boy could easily be an escape artist through any open door or hole in the fence.

Frankie’s walking on leash is slowly improving. He can now walk on the busy sidewalks for short periods without going into panic mode. With a brief stop for a cuddle and sit in your lap time, his walks are becoming a fun learning experience for Frankie. He can take time now to smell the trees, the grass and the poles. As he gains his own confidence, his growth is amazing to watch.

He does not like cats but would probably like a small calm female dog as a companion when left alone for short periods of time.

The shelter reported that Frankie has a history of 2 seizures in the past. We will continue to monitor him closely. Seizures were not reported by the original owner who surrendered Frankie to shelter.

Frankie would love a forever home to call his own.  Think of what you could accomplish together!

If you would like to adopt Frankie, please fill out an adoption application. You can also purchase a sweater and/or blanket for him, or any of our other fosters dogs. Please consider becoming a CCRT Sponsorship Angel for any of our fosters by making a cash donation towards their care.
