Coco was a very popular girl and attracted a lot of adoption applications! We have chosen the ideal home for her from this abundance of options. No further applications will be accepted. Thanks to all who applied. We encourage you to check out our other foster dogs; maybe the dog for you is already waiting!
This little sweetie is Coco. She was surrendered to CCRT by her owner due to a behaviour issue. Anyone wanting to adopt Coco should have experience with dogs with separation anxiety.
Coco is young, friendly and playful. She already knows her basic commands like sit, stay, lie down and even fetch. She enjoys her walks, is inquisitive and is working on her leash training. She still pulls and gets excited when she sees squirrels. Coco loves her toys. She plays with balls, a Kong and a chew rope. She is happy to greet her foster mom at the door.
This young, energetic pup would benefit from a home environment that includes a safely fenced backyard for daily romps. She is trained to use pee pads. She does exhibit coprophagia. (Yes – she will eat her own poop.)
Coco is on an Acana diet to reduce instances of gastric upset.
Someone who works from home or can be at home would make an ideal companion for her. Coco does not do well with crates or cages. Coco needs a similar size playful doggie friend in the home.
A home without young children is required because of her small size.
As she is a long haired chi, her coat requires daily brushing & monthly grooming
Coco is still very young and has great potential. This little girl has a wonderful life ahead of her. Are you the person to help Coco blossom?
If you would like to adopt Coco please fill out an adoption application. You can purchase a sweater and/or blanket for her, or any of our other fosters dogs. Please consider becoming a CCRT Sponsorship Angel for any of our fosters by making a cash donation towards their care.
