Meet Nemo, a three-year-old white and tan short-coat Chihuahua who was surrendered to CCRT by his owners.  Nemo is seven pounds of love on four paws.  He is friendly and outgoing with everyone he meets, and he assumes that everybody loves him.

This sweet, handsome little boy is a treasure.  Nemo is quiet, well-behaved and house-trained.  He looks forward to his daily walks and is learning to heel nicely on-leash.  He is smart and a bit sensitive, so he needs gentle training and positive reinforcement to avoid hurting his feelings.  He is anxious to please and low-maintenance.

Nemo is neutered, micro-chipped, up to date with vaccinations, and he has had his teeth cleaned.  When he is really happy, he dances and smiles to show off his nice white teeth.  Nemo is a playful boy and he has no known health problems.  He stays fit by playing “zoom-doggy” in the backyard and chasing his toys in the house.

Nemo has been assessed in his foster home, and his foster mom says that he is a pleasure to foster.  He is a well-adjusted young dog and definitely ready to go to his forever home.

Nemo likes to be close to his humans, so he would do well in a home where someone is there at least part of the day.  He gets along with other small dogs and has a healthy respect for cats.  A home with children would be fine with Nemo, but because of his small size, they should be at least ten years of age.
