This sweet, 7-pound pup is the perfect mix of cute, cuddly, smart, energetic and full of life. Isaac is a young dog with a big personality—he’s playful, curious, and always eager to learn. He’s an excellent listener and wants nothing more than to please his person.

Isaac will thrive in a home where he’ll continue his training, practice good manners, and stay both mentally and physically engaged. He’s full of energy and benefits from daily walks, playtime, and socializing with other dogs. He’s especially fond of fetch, toys, and bones—and makes fast friends with every dog he meets. Isaac would be a wonderful second dog, especially for a playful young canine companion.

A caveat to him being a second dog is that his foster mom has seen resource aggression with chewy bones and food in dog bowls from Isaac towards his foster siblings. Therefore his new family should be aware of this, experienced in having two dogs at once and work with Isaac on this behavior or separate dogs at feeding time.

At home, Isaac is a well-behaved little guy who loves spending the day by your side. He’ll follow you from room to room just to be near you and keep you company. He’s also a great travel buddy—he settles easily in his crate during car rides and is calm and well-mannered in public.

• Isaac likes to bark. This could pose a problem in condo or apartment settings however he is learning manners when it comes to barking and is slowly improving.
• Cats and small animals: he has shown prey drive and should not be around them.
• Kids: Isaac should not be placed with children under roughly under 12. Older, dog experienced children could be acceptable.
