Jinx has been adopted!

JINX is a chi/pug
Age : 1 yo  ( dob 27th July 2022)
Weight: 15 lbs
Location: Toronto
Adoption donation: $675

Jinx is a really sweet girl and quick learner!  She’s housetrained, only goes to the washroom outside on grass at the moment. She likes to play with toys, she knows commands like sit and down and sits automatically in the elevator and at traffic lights/stop signs before crossing.

Jinx is a social pup and gets along well with dogs she meets during walks. She has not shown any aggression and is more submissive in nature. She does love to run around and play with dogs in the park.

She is shy in front of new people but is curious and warms up quickly.

She’s very cuddly and loving and will be an excellent companion in a home that is pretty quiet (because of her shyness) but also active and wants to bring her everywhere. Jinx loves walks and exploring and does have energy.

Jinx should be suitable in an apartment, condo or house. She doesn’t bark much inside. She may show slight separation anxiety but she is comfortable and happy going into her crate when you leave for a short period of time.

She doesn’t need a fur sibling but would get along well with a dog her size or bigger and with similar temperament.

Jinx’s family should have older children or no children versus young kids.

She will do well with a family who wants to help her work on her manners and training. She has a tendency to jump up with her two front paws when she’s excited but with training this can be reduced. Jinx can pull on walks and can get overly excited when passing other dogs and squirrels. I have no doubt with time and training this will be fixed.

You can purchase a sweater and/or blanket for Jinx, or any of our other foster dogs. Please consider becoming a CCRT Sponsorship Angel for any of our fosters by making a cash donation towards their care.
