Luna’s Happy Ending!

Good morning,

I thought I would touch base and let you know how well Luna is doing in her new home.  We are absolutely in love with her (Bowzer included 😊)

She has been the most amazing puppy and I truly believe it is due to the fantastic work done by her foster mom  and her daughters.

I have attached some photos for you.

Once again, thanks again to the entire CCRT team of volunteers.

Best regards,

Age: Puppy – DOB 16th December 2022
Weight: 7 lbs
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Adoption donation: $700

Luna is sweet and friendly and loves to play (and chew) If it’s on the floor she  will inspect it and probably chew on it. Luna is  learning to drop things from her mouth when I say “Ah ah!”, but she mostly runs away with a playful prance and challenges her foster mom to get it from her.

Luna does not  bark very much, but will whine when hungry, need to potty, or want attention. Puppy training will be essential for Luna

Luna plays with toys and especially loves a treat filled Kong!

Luna is beginning to respond to her name and is food motivated.

Luna enjoys a good snuggle and craves belly rubs.

The snow is a lot of fun for frolicking and Luna is  going potty outside, with puppy pads available inside for the time being.

We know it’s hard to hear but we will not consider applications from people who work a full day. As puppies can be handfuls, Luna will require a family who has a lot of time and love for her. A working family who is gone for 8-10 hours a day is not the right fit this girl. She needs a family who is committed to establishing a life with her. In return she will give her new parents the gift of unconditional love, companionship and laughter.

You can purchase a sweater and/or blanket for Luna, or any of our other foster dogs. Please consider becoming a CCRT Sponsorship Angel for any of our fosters by making a cash donation towards their care.
