March 31: Adoption Pending.
Oh my! This sweet, puppyish face belongs to Manny, one of our new additions. Manny came under the CCRT’s care after being surrendered by his owners. He’s a chatty little guy and was just too vocal for apartment life.
Despite his young age, Manny is pee pad trained and will do his business outside too. He’s a great eater and though he’s still working on basic training, he listens well. Do you have the patience to help Manny continue his training?
This little guy absolutely loves his people and loves to be trotting along beside them or snuggled in close. Need a Netflix marathon partner? Manny’s up for it! He’s sweet, affectionate and a great companion. He also loves to sleep in bed with his humans, where it’s nice and cozy.
He would likely be okay with around older children, but he’s still a puppy and sometimes nips when excited, so we’re looking for a home for Manny without very young children.
Manny has some separation anxiety like many young Chihuahuas, although he is improving in his foster home. For this reason, he is likely best suited for a home where someone is with him for most of the day or where he has another pup to keep him company.
Manny is not suitable for condo or apartment living and needs a detached home, as well as an owner who is committed to continuing training with this little guy, so he can reach his full potential. He’s a sweet and motivated little pup who just needs to find that perfect match. Is it you?
If Manny sounds like the guy for you, please fill out an adoption application. You can purchase a sweater and/or blanket for him, or any of our other foster dogs.
Please consider becoming a CCRT Sponsorship Angel for any of our fosters by making a cash donation towards their care.

Why is his adoption fee so high? Thanks
Our adoption fees are in line with other reputable, rescue groups and are not considered ‘high’. Our fees include a full vet exam, all necessary medical care including spay/neuter, shots, surgeries, etc. Should you consider the fees high, you may wish to reconsider adding a furry family member to your household as the adoption fee is only a fraction of the money you will spend to properly care for your pet for it’s lifetime. We encourage you, instead, to consider becoming a foster home where you can care for the dog without incurring the important and necessary financial responsibility of lifelong pet ownership. Thanks for your interest in CCRT!
Please let me know more about Manny and when he’s ready to ge adopted.

Our dearest baby passed away last year. Brooklyn was 14and in a loving home, he is greatly missed. Our rescue boarder collie misses him as well. We feel that now is the time to fill the hole in our hearts. Manny would fit nicely into our loving home.
