Buddy has gone home!
Could Buddy be your new bestest buddy? This handsome 1 year old boy weighs in at just over 5 pounds and is looking for his forever home.
As a young man, Buddy is very high energy and will need a committed family to look after him. He will need at least two walks a day and lots of play time to drain his energy – but who wouldn’t want to spend quantity and quality time with that adorable face? He adores other dogs and LOVES to go out for walks; in fact, he gets quite vocal when he sees his leash and harness.
Buddy has been a restless since coming to foster care, we believe the change in his environment is causing that. He’s not a fan of being left alone and will whine and cry, but some training will alleviate that.
He’s a bit nervous around new people, but is not aggressive in any way. Buddy just needs a bit of time to warm up to you and when does, watch out! He’ll be on your lap and doing his best to kiss you non-stop. He also loves sleeping in bed with his foster family and will cuddle up right up to you at night. Like all dogs, he loves his treats, especially raspberries!
Buddy has been checked over by a vet and has also been neutered. His house manners are almost perfect, again, he’s receiving a bit of training for that and is doing great.
Buddy is learning rules and boundaries but he’s young and is proving to be a quick study. His new family will need to continue the work his foster family is doing in order to maintain his new, positive habits.
If you’re looking for a new buddy, maybe this Buddy is right for you. Please complete an adoption application for him and a CCRT volunteer will be in touch.
