Muffin has an adoption pending.

Meet Miss Muffin

Muffin is a very sweet girl who found her way to CCRT via a shelter, where she was picked up as a stray.  Nothing is known about Muffin’s life prior to coming under our care and we are happy to report that during her time in foster care, she has shown herself to be a great girl!  She will require a calm, supportive family to help her with her confidence, especially when it comes to learning new things – being outdoors and walking on a lead.  She responds well to reassurance.

Muffin is, for the most part, house trained however she will not ask to go out.  Patience will be required of her new family as Muffin gains her confidence and learns to communicate with her family when she would like a bathroom break.  Until such time, she will require many breaks to ensure her success at eliminating exclusively outdoors.

The sweet girl gets along well with other dogs and is currently learning how to respect space and appropriate play among her canine companions.  She does not yet play with toys, but enjoys playing with her humans’ hands.  She is a cuddle bug who freely gives kisses to her foster family and loves to snuggle with them.  She generally likes all humans.  Once she has met someone, she accepts them.  She will bark when visitors first enter the home, but settles quickly with reassurance from her foster parents.

Muffin does not travel well in the car – she gets carsick.  She is non-destructive in the house and is overall a sweet, loving, little girl!
