Venus is sweet and friendly and loves to play (and chew) If it’s on the floor Venus will inspect it and probably chew on it. Venus is learning to drop things from their mouths when I say “Ah ah!”, but she mostly runs away with a playful prance and challenges her foster mom to get it from her.
Venus does not bark very much, but will whine when hungry, need to potty, or want attention. Puppy training will be essential for Venus
Venus plays with toys and especially loves a treat filled Kong!
Venus is beginning to respond to her name and is food motivated.
Venus enjoys a good snuggle and craves belly rubs.
The snow is a lot of fun for frolicking and Venus is going potty outside, with puppy pads available inside for the time being.
We know it’s hard to hear but we will not consider applications from people who work a full day. As puppies can be handfuls, Venus will require a family who has a lot of time and love for her. A working family who is gone for 8-10 hours a day is not the right fit this girl. She needs a family who is committed to establishing a life with her. In return she will give her new parents the gift of unconditional love, companionship and laughter.
You can purchase a sweater and/or blanket for Venus, or any of our other foster dogs. Please consider becoming a CCRT Sponsorship Angel for any of our fosters by making a cash donation towards their care.
