Hi Everyone,
My name is Buzz. Why Buzz? Well my Foster Mom just happened to say the name and I just about broke my own neck getting out from under the blanket, I guess because I liked the sound of the name…so… Buzz it is.
I am three years old and six lbs of pure love and devotion. I know what you are thinking. With a name like Buzz, I must be full of you know what and vinegar with a side order of attitude. I am just the opposite. I am really quiet and I have one main goal, and that is to be with someone who will love me as completely as I will love them. I’m shy in the beginning if I don’t know you but boy when I do… no one will ever look at you the way I do.
I had a questionable first three years but not much is known at this point with the exception that the last year I was in a basement with my brothers and alone A LOT. That is why it takes a bit for me to warm up to you.
I wasn’t house trained when I came to live with my foster mom but it took two days and that was it. Now I go to the bathroom outdoors like a pro! I like to go outside and run around but if you don’t have a backyard, you should know that I love to go for walks. If you go in the car and can take me with you please do. I love adventures and road trips.
Now here is what I’m really good at: When we go to sleep at night, I am the best there is at snuggling and can fit into the smallest place close to you. I sleep all night very quietly and contently, under the covers of course because I am little.
My foster home has cats and I like to go into their room and watch them but I don’t really understand them. They don’t do much really. They are bigger than me so I just sit quietly on the mat with them until they do something. I really want to curl up with them but they don’t feel the same. Oh well. I really like other dogs and get along with them all. If you have a dog now that’s great but if you don’t then that’s AWESOME!! My foster mom is working with me on sharing attention and helping me to understand that everyone deserves attention not just me. I get it, not everyone knows that it’s all about me. I have learned to share.
So thanks for taking the time to read about me and if you want to meet me then just fill out that adoption form thingie and come see me. I am adorable!
If Buzz sounds the guy for you, please fill out an adoption application. You can purchase a sweater and/or blanket for him, or any of our other fosters dogs.
Please consider becoming a CCRT Sponsorship Angel for any of our fosters by making a cash donation towards their care.

I would love to meet Buzz.
Buzz isn’t accepting adoption applications right now, but keep an eye on his profile and we’ll update it when he’s ready!
I feel Buzz might be a good match for Bingo and our family.
Hi is this baby available for adoption
Yes, simply follow the link in the profile to complete an adoption application form.
Good morning
We live in Vancouver. Do you adopt to the west coast?
Yes we do, CCRT is a national organization and your adoption application will still be considered even if you and your future furry family member live far apart. A “meet and greet” is mandatory and you will be responsible for all costs associated with getting to that meeting (i.e., gas, flights, hotels, meals, etc.) in the city where the foster dog is being cared for. If your application is approved and the dog must be transported to your home, you are fully responsible for all logistics and costs associated with that transport. If the transport involves flying the dog, the dog must fly in cabin (no cargo) in an airline approved soft sided carrier accompanied by the adopter.
Is this little boy still available??
Yes, he is!
Where is buzz currently being fostered?
He was being fostered in Ontario, but has now been adopted!
